We would like to point out the following amendments.

According to the fact that races are not completed as scheduled for the first 3 days of the regatta, and with the agreement of the management of the International Tornado Association, the reserve day will be used as followed :

Delete existing Sailing Instruction SI 13 and replace with
SI 13 THE FINISH
The finishing line will be between the mast displaying an orange flag on the committee signal boat at the port end of the line and the course side of a small tetrahedral yellow buoy at the starboard end.
When the race committee vessel is on station at the finish it will display a blue flag or shape.

Sailing instruction SI 16.7: From the list, delete ‘25’ Effect: Sailors may protest a boat for disposal of trash.

AMENDMENT No1 TO SAILING INSTRUCTIONS download the Amendment SI as pdf
Delete existing sailing instruction SI 4.4 and replace with: SI 4.4 Flag D (‘Danger!’) with one sound signal means ‘no boat shall be afloat’ The warning signal will be made not less than 60 minutes after lowering of Flag D.
Delete both existing sailing instructions SI 9.3 and SI 11.2 and replace with: SI 9.3 The starting line marks are the committee signal boat at the starboard end and a committee boat at the port end. The finishing line marks are a boat at the port end and a yellow buoy at the starboard end. SI 11.2 The starting line will be between the mast displaying an orange flag on the committee signal boat at the starboard end of the line, and a staff displaying an orange flag on the committee boat at the port end.
Delete existing sailing instruction SI 13 and replace with SI 13 THE FINISH The finishing line will be between the mast displaying an orange flag on the committee signal boat at the port end of the line, and the course side of a yellow buoy at the starboard end.
